Dr. Djombe Ojimbwa, the Principal Medical Examiner at PACO's Manitou Springs, Colorado headquarters, has retired after a fourteen year career in the field of forensic medicine. He gave PACO eleven years of distinguished service. Having recently acquired a modest fortune through his wise investment in a small submarine treasure salvage business, Dr. Ojimbwa has decided to leave the medical field and pursue other ventures. "I would like to create and manage a charitable trust devoted to the comfort of grieving families," he stated, while speaking from his villa on beautiful Tioman Island. "I've seen far too much suffering over the years to simply turn away and indulge myself."

Siri Tham, the Assistant Director of the Pan American Coroners Office, spoke for Dr. Ojimbwa's grateful colleagues in saying, "All of us will miss 'Oja.' He is immensely talented and a great guy. He's earned his due and deserves all the luck in the world. We'll always remember him, and we hope he can stow the champagne and get off the beach on occasion and come and visit us."
