CLINOCOPATHOLIGICAL CORRELATION: Cause of death is exsanguination due to GSW to left chest.

The body of this thirty four-year-old male was examined via remote pathology medibots under direction and supervision of my office in Pueblo, Colorado. Witnesses report that decedent was a bystander shot during an exchange of fire between a robot and a private bounty hunter. Accounts describe the decedent as appearing extremely agitated prior to the shooting. The incident occurred outside the Electric Toyland Repair Shop in Washington DC.

EXTERNAL EVIDENCE OF INJURY: The at-scene investigation disclosed a single entry wound measuring 1 cm to the chest with an exit wound measuring 5-6 cm at left scapula. Copious blood loss. No gun powder residue or powder burns noted on skin or clothing surrounding entry. Splintered metallic bullet fragments retrieved from at crime scene were remanded to forensics for investigation.

REMAINDER OF EXTERNAL EXAMINATION: The unembalmed, well-nourished male body measures 170 cm in length and weighs an estimated 82 kilos. It appears older than known age. The body has been heavily bioengineered for elective cosmetic purposes. There is evidence of ocular implants, presumably elective—secondary eyelids to provide additional light and color filters.

The external auditory canals are clear, but dissection of the mastoid sinuses reveals bilateral cochlear implants.

Eyes are brown and the pupils abnormally dilated; evidence of excess perspiration and oral secretions are also noted, suggesting elevated levels of epinephrine prior to death. Other modifications include a prosthetic digit on the left hand of the type commonly found in tweaker gangs, and evidence of a spinal integrated circuit array, with electrode implants and projections to the thalamus and hypothalamus that modify and record peripheral sensory information and allow for control of hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal access. In addition, there is evidence of spinal modifications allowing for bio-prosthetic override of the hypothalamus. The nostrils are both patent. Teeth show evidence of grinding. Examination of the extremities is unremarkable except where noted.
